What is the first visit like?
On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a detailed history form. The doctor will then go over the form with you and ask you some additional questions. Next you will be given orthopedic, muscle, and neurologic tests to determine what part of your body is involved. If indicated, you may need to have x-rays taken.

Do I need to have x-rays taken?
Most cases do not require x-rays. The reason we take x-rays is to help us determine if there needs to be a change in our treatment plan. Additional reasons for x-rays include but are not limited to fracture, cancer, bony abnormality, impingement, or arthritis. We will not second guess your health

How does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic treatments are designed to get the muscles and joints working efficiently. This relieves the stress put on the body and allows more energy to directed to other functions of the body such as digestion, circulation and reproduction. Chiropractors will also make lifestyle recommendations in areas such as exercise, posture, and nutrition. One of the main treatments chiropractors use is spinal manipulation.
